A vintage 24ct yellow gold brooch set with 3 large yellow topaz stones and small ruby cabochons. A bespoke made brooch with with central octagon cut stone surrounded by pierced gold of foliate design set with 6 small ruby cabochons. Flanked by 2 round cut stones (approx. 6mm diameter) set in a scallop shell shaped setting. Brooch not hallmarked but tests as 24ct gold. Safety chain tests as 14ct. Approx. 4.8cm long and weighs 11.3g.
